This privacy policy applies to you if you are a Symmetry customer, a user, or a visitor to symmetry.com or to our office. This policy describes the types of data that we collect, the reason for collecting it, how we use and process it, when we may disclose your data, your privacy rights with respect to your data, and how you can exercise those rights. If you are our customer, please also read any signed agreement between us, as it may contain further details about how we collect and process your data. When and how we collect your data

When you visit our web site or use our products or services, we collect data. Sometimes you provide us with data, sometimes data about you is collected automatically.

Data is collected automatically when you:

We may collect your data from from call recordings. These recordings enable us to review and evaluate customer interactions, enhance customer support, and train our employees. We may record the call, use technologies to create call scripts and analyze the call to create follow-up actions and gauge customer satisfaction and sentiment. We may also use the recordings to:

Types of data we collect

Contact details

Your name, address, telephone number, and email address. We may also obtain information about you from public sources in order to keep our records up to date.

Data that identifies you

Your IP address, login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types, geolocation information about where you might be, operating system and version.

Data on how you use our web site

Your URL clickstreams (the path you take through our site), products/services viewed, page response times, download errors, when you visit our pages and how often, how long you stay on our pages, what you do on those pages, and other actions.

What about sensitive data?

We do not collect any “sensitive data” (like racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious/philosophical beliefs, union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health data, data about your sex life or orientation, precise geolocation data, or criminal history) except when we have your specific consent, or when the law requires us to. We ask that you not provide us with sensitive data or use our products to process sensitive data.

What about children’s data?

Symmetry.com and our products and services are directed to and intended for use only by businesses. We do not target Symmetry at children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from any person under 13 years old. People under 13 years old should not visit or use Symmetry.com or our products or services.

Other information

We also collect non-personal information that gives us insights into who is visiting our site. This information may include company size, industry, and job function.

How and why we use your data

How long do we store your data?

We will delete any personally identifiable information about you promptly after you ask us to do so, provided that we are able to verify that the request is made or authorized by you. We may store data that is not personally identifiable information for longer periods.

Information about others

If you provide us with personal information about other people, or if others give us your information, we will only use that information for the specific reason for which it was provided to us. Symmetry.com and the Symmetry products and services are designed for use by residents of the United States and Canada.
