The Challenge 

Netchex provides tax and human resource services, ranging from time and attendance programs to a full-service platform. The company focuses on payroll, including complicated state and local taxes, to ensure their offerings are compliant and ensure accuracy. The Search 

Although Netchex had the qualifications and skills to write a code for automating tax forms, the company needed to focus its priorities on the customer and maintaining its current products. Before learning about Symmetry, they were frequenters of paycheckcity.com, Symmetry Software's free paycheck calculator website for individuals and small businesses. In 2009, Boudreaux was referred to Symmetry Software and, after viewing the capabilities of the Symmetry Tax Engine, quickly signed up for a free trial.

The Solution

Together, the Symmetry Tax Engine and Symmetry Payroll Forms help employees fill out the appropriate Federal, State and Local tax withholding forms and employers process payroll accurately. Symmetry Payroll Forms pre-populates data, automatically determines PSD Codes, EIT Rates, and school districts, and automatically applies nexus and reciprocity. The simple process begins with the employee entering or loading their data, and Symmetry Payroll Forms identifies the location and gathers the appropriate forms. The employee is then guided through the necessary forms, and the system automatically sends the completed forms to the designated department. 

Since Netchex implemented the Symmetry Tax Engine and Symmetry Payroll Forms to complete their onboarding solution, they have been successfully compliant. According to Boudreaux, the Symmetry Software team concentrated on understanding Netchex's unique needs before presenting them with the Symmetry Tax Engine and Symmetry Payroll Forms.
