Account Executive

Symmetry is seeking a technically savvy Account Executive to cultivate and close business with new customers. We offer a casual work environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity. The candidate must be mature and be an excellent communicator both with clients and colleagues. Additionally, the applicant should be well organized. This person will manage all sales activity for multiple prospects in all stages of the selling cycle. The successful candidate will have a highly visible and influential role in growing Symmetry's presence in the marketplace.

Sales occur mostly over the phone and via web-demos, however 3 to 5 times a year you can expect to travel to industry events and trade shows. Compensation is comprised of a base salary plus commission.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• At least five years of experience selling to large organizations (Fortune 1000).
• Experience with selling cycles of three to six months.
• Must be a seasoned pro at prospecting and client presentations.
• Must be comfortable with telephone & email cold calling to generate new clients.
• Software experience a plus but not required.
• Payroll and/or HR product experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to develop lead generation strategies towards gaining new accounts.
• Highly motivated; results-oriented.
• Self disciplined and have a positive attitude.
• Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills.
